When we treat students like victims, we freeze them where they stand. When we treat students as capable, we unlock who they can become.

Students are not victims and they don’t need to be saved. They need to be empowered, pushed, challenged, and held accountable.

Don’t lower the bar. Insist they rise to meet it.
